Dr. Karl Nationally Recognized for Leadership at ARA Conference

Congratulations to Dr. Karl Wyant, our VP of Ag Science, for being recognized as a leader in our industry! Dr. Karl was named as one of the Agricultural Retailers Association’s (ARA) Rising Stars. The Rising Star Award, sponsored by Atticus, recognizes emerging leaders in agricultural retail and their dynamic contributions to the industry. Dr. Wyant and his fellow Rising Stars were recently honored at the 2021 ARA Conference & Expo in San Antonio, Texas.

“I’m so honored to be recognized as a Rising Star,” said Dr. Karl Wyant. “Getting to attend the ARA conference, share my work and connect with people passionate about the future of ag retail and soil health has been an amazing experience. I know all of the tools and support myself and my fellow Rising Star winners received are going to continue to move our industry forward in meaningful ways.”

Participation in the 2021 “Saddle Up for Success” ARA Conference and Expo allowed Rising Stars to network with thought leaders in the agricultural industry, engage in professional development and explore new ways to hone their leadership skills. Dr. Karl was especially excited to share his work on the soil microbiome and its connection to higher crop yields and healthier soils.
