Department: Finance

Basic Function: This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Heliae Development, LLC located in Gilbert, AZ. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as financial data entry, accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. They will also assist with budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and general administrative tasks related to finance and accounting.

Reports to: Assistant Controller

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in financial data entry and bookkeeping
  • Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to work 40 or more hours per week at Heliae’s headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    • fax machine/copier
