Your PhycoTerraFX can be made via foliar spray or other methods which effectively apply PhycoTerraFX to the leaf. PhycoTerraFX can simply be added to an existing fungicide or herbicide application to avoid having to make an extra pass through the field.
Depending on crop, application timing will vary:
- Spring Wheat: Feekes 8-10.5: Flag leaf to heading and flowering
- Winter Wheat: Feekes 8-10.5: Flag leaf to heading and flowering
- Corn: R1 – R3
- Soybeans: R3 – R5
- Cotton: First – second square
- Canola: R3 – R5
Microbes are tiny living organisms that can only be seen under a microscope. Microbes are found all around us, including on your crop’s leaves – and these microbial communities can change in as little as one day. Leaf microbes help manage different abiotic stressors like UV, moisture, and heat stress. Managing these environmental impacts to the leaves can support photosynthesis, biomass and reproduction. Leaf microbes are related to plant health primarily via their abundance and diversity. The more abundant and diverse the microbiome at the phyllosphere, the more likely your plants are to withstand abiotic stressors – supporting yield potentials.
PhycoTerraFX is NOT a biological product because PhycoTerra products do not contain any living organisms. PhycoTerra is a pasteurized, non-living formula sourced from nature. Biological products are agricultural products containing cultures of living microorganisms. One example of a biological product would be inoculants used to optimize Nitrogen-fixing in legume crops.
PhycoTerraFX is an inert formulation and does not have any special storage requirements. PhycoTerraFX has a shelf life of up to 15 months. All PhycoTerra branded products can be stored in the field during the season and can withstand both heat and cold without reducing efficacy. For multiple use, the container should be sealed properly after use and stored in a dry, cool place. Right before use, PhycoTerraFX branded products should be agitated to mix and resuspend the formula for application.
